Partners Electrical LLC is looking for a hands-on and motivated Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally, and is able to manage their time with little direction while staying focused on top priorities. You must be a self-starter who is driven, sales-oriented, and is able to foster professional relationships with both peers and clients.
The Estimator is responsible for estimating and pricing of small to large scale projects including conceptual layout for estimating purposes. Pricing of low voltage to medium voltage power systems, to include such systems like Access Control, Tele data, Low Voltage Networks, Audio, Visual, and 120v to 480v systems.
Description of Duties:
- Drawing, specification, and existing site conditions to determine scope conception
- Communicating with owners, clients, municipalities, prime contractors, subcontractors, and engineers to help ensure accuracy of scope.
- Identify material/labor cost
- Preparing sitework estimates for new construction projects.
- Assisting in the scheduling and submittal process for each project.
- Building and maintaining relationships with general contractors, owners, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinating material approval and delivery to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Optimizing and lessening job costs by negotiating prices with vendors and subcontractors.
- Providing valued engineering ideas that improve productivity and overall project performance.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Some knowledge on the field
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Must have customer service-oriented mentality.
Strong organizational and planning skills
The candidate shall be able to prioritize and shift between multiple and varied projects.
Must feel comfortable with technology (PDFs, Apple products, etc
Not necessary to have worked in an estimation role before, if you are self-motivated and have the desire to win, we can provide the direction to succussed in this position.
